Hi, I’m Kimberly
I’m a licensed therapist in Arkansas and Colorado, helping clients with autism, ADHD, and trauma find confidence, healing, and hope.
My own healing journey is what led me to the field of therapy. Like you, I’d gone through hard experiences in the past, and something was off in my life; those past experiences were still impacting me. So I signed up for a therapy intensive. I wasn’t sure it would work—but it was absolutely transformational. In a matter of days, I worked through years of hardship, emotional pain, and negative beliefs about myself, and walked away with confidence and purpose, unburdened and free for the first time in so long. After that experience, I made it my life’s mission to offer the same kind of transformation to others.
My experiences as the mother of a neurodivergent child have shaped my journey in profound ways. If you are the parent of a neurodivergent or twice exceptional child, too, I see you and I know what you’re going through. The struggles truly are unique. Because I’ve been there, I know how to offer both practical guidance and compassion without pity, to let you regain confidence in your parenting and help your child thrive.
If you work with me, you will be my collaborator; we’ll work together to target goals, and we’ll structure therapy to help you meet them. My job is to help you reach your goals in as short of a timeframe as possible. To that end, I offer several formats for therapy, including intensives [link Intensives page]. I’m not here to shame you or judge you; I’m just here to help you get where you want to be.
You should know that I’m just a human, too, quirky and down-to-earth. I love Asian food, paint-by-numbers is my favorite way to decompress, and visiting every National Park in the US is on my bucket list. I’d love a chance to connect. Insurance
I understand that therapy can be a significant investment. I offer private-pay options for clients who do not have insurance. My regular fee is $200 per session; I also offer a sliding scale for clients with financial need. I accept BCBS (including Federal and Municipal), Ambetter, Qualchoice, Cigna, and Medicaid.
My Therapy Modalities

EMDR is an 8-phase approach that helps you process traumatic memories or other difficult experiences, from relationships to medical events to major life changes. EMDR is based on the idea that traumatic memories can become stuck in your body, dysregulating your nervous system and causing mental, emotional, and physical difficulties. In EMDR, we’ll move through your history and do some skills-building before using rapid eye movement (REM—yep, the same REM that happens during sleep!) to change the way distressing memories are stored in your brain. We’ll also focus on replacing negative thoughts and beliefs with new, freeing thoughts and beliefs. You’ll be able to discharge the negative energy stored in your nervous system, so you can have a fresh start on life.

This is a therapy approach that helps you understand and manage your body’s response to stress and trauma, by focusing on regulating the vagus nerve. This can improve your physical and emotional responses to stress, help you feel safer and more connected to yourself, and ultimately improve your resilience in the face of challenges.

Drawing upon techniques used in group and family therapy, Ego State Therapy can help you understand yourself in a deeper way. You’ll work through dynamics between different parts of your personality (for example, a depressed part vs. an angry part), so you can reduce inner conflict and establish inner harmony. I often use Ego State Therapy in Phase 2 of EMDR.

This is a tried-and-true, evidence-based approach to therapy, meaning it’s been proven by decades of research. Using CBT, I’ll help you make connections between your thoughts and feelings, and harness these connections to create more positive outcomes in your emotions, behavior, and relationships.

Another classic evidence-based therapy model, DBT focuses on tolerating uncomfortable emotions, reducing self-harm and suicidal thoughts, learning mindfulness skills, increasing your effectiveness in relationships, and regulating your emotions. It’s a perfect approach for people with trauma in their background.
