Offering trauma focused individual therapy, online therapy and intensives to residents of Fort Smith and throughout Arkansas and Colorado

I’m a neurospicy mom and wife with a passion for affirming mental health support for neurodivergent individuals and families and helping people heal emotional wounds start to live the life they’ve always wanted.

My passion for helping clients heal past wounds and live safely and hopefully in the present is unwavering. As a dedicated therapist, I have witnessed the transformative power of addressing and processing unresolved traumas. It is a privilege to guide individuals through their healing journey, providing a safe and compassionate space for them to explore and release their pain. Witnessing the profound shifts and newfound resilience in my clients as they gain freedom from their past is incredibly rewarding. I am committed to empowering individuals to reclaim their lives, fostering a sense of hope and possibility for a brighter future.

  • “The goal of EMDR therapy is trait change so that the negative emotions and sensations will no longer habitually arise.”

Francine Shapiro, Florence W. Kaslow & Louise Maxfield

  • “The thing that EMDR therapy does so beautifully is to remove the barrier so that the client can begin connecting the positives and safety of the present with the pain of the past. This —the facilitation of access and integration of memory information—is a good thing about standard EMDR procedures.”

    Jim Knipe

  • “Why EMDR? EMDR works fast, is integrative, doesn’t necessitate prolonged exposure (which can be re-traumatizing), and requires no homework. It activates natural processing capacities of the brain that are frozen and deactivated by trauma. It re-establishes disrupted communication between the brain regions impacted by traumatic experience and enables the traumatized brain to heal.”
